Living in a condominium on Grand Cayman is a better choice for those who want to own or rent a piece of paradise. Here's why a condominium is the ideal residence for those who want to stay longer on the island (or those who just keep coming back!):
CONVENIENCE- Even if you are just staying for a week, staying in a condo unit is a great choice because you'll have privacy and space to call your own. Condos typically have several bedrooms and baths. Most have freshwater pools, cabanas, housekeeping service, and even sporting facilities like tennis courts, fitness centres and golf courses. Most condos also have a kitchen area, so you can prepare your own meals. You can even do your own laundry, if you care to!
PRIME LOCATION- Grand Cayman condos are usually situated along the island's beaches and offer great ocean views. The most luxurious and expensive ones are located on famous Seven Mile Beach on the western coast. These condos are a short walking distance from hotels, shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. The condos are secluded enough to feel like a private retreat but near enough to establishments which are very convenient if you want to eat out or stock some food in the kitchen.
AFFORDABILITY- There is a wide range of condos and price ranges depending on location and size for those who want to purchase vacation property. Owning a condo can mean a savings over repeat stays at hotels. Monthly or quarterly fees for the upkeep of common areas lets you save by letting someone else take care of the utilities, clean up, and maintain common areas. In fact, paying for home insurance, garbage pick-up, and other maintenance and utility fees required when you own a house can surprisingly add up to a sum that is more than your condo fees.
Rental rates vary between summer and winter. December to April is the peak season for travelers and is usually higher in rates than the rest of the year.
CHOICES- New condominiums have been built in the island's booming areas of Prospect and Red Bay, and even in the more remote East End. Services for these outlying areas are expanding with shopping areas such as Grand Harbour and the Morritts plaza in East End.Paradise may come with a hefty price tag, but condo living in Grand Cayman puts all these within your reach: relaxing, carefree, and luxurious accommodations. |
